Trasna

Trasna is comprised of the two folk powerhouses on the Irish scene, Ger O’Donnell and Trevor Sexton.

They combine their multi- instrumental talents, to deliver a haunting mix of music firmly rooted in the traditional genre. This is acoustic folk at its finest. Their gentle ballads are steeped in nostalgia, sparking a flame of familiarity and the grounding call of home.

They have performed at various festivals and events, including the Mallow Arts Festival 2024 and the Galway Folk Festival. Their debut album, “The Alchemist’s Stone,” showcases their unique blend of soulful lyrics and delicate harmonies.
