Pat Fleming

Pat Fleming is an accordionist, composer and researcher from Boherbue, Co Cork - an area deeply rooted in the Sliabh Luachra tradition - renowned for its music, culture and heritage.

He has toured internationally as a professional musician as part of large theatre shows and festivals while also conducting masterclasses and workshops worldwide. Currently he produces live musical events for charity. Pat's first album (Live Music from Sliabh Luachra) was commissioned by the Arts Council of Ireland and was very highly reviewed. Earlier this year he collaborated with world-famous guitarist - Steve Cooney - on a new album. This album - Tunes from Tooreendarby - has received critical acclaim worldwide and is looked at as a milestone in Sliabh Luchra style music.

It is planned that this will be the first album in a series collection which will serve as a record of this music for generations to come. Pat is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Music at the World Music and Dance Academy at the University of Limerick. He is also working with TG4 on a production focused on the Sliabh Luachra culture and older musicians in the area. He also regularly engages in talks, interviews, and performances at universities, colleges and academies.


Matt Bashford

Matt Bashford is a native of Limerick in Ireland. He plays Uilleann Pipes and Whistles among various other woodwind instruments. He was a member of the Canadian artist Bruce Guthro's (Runrig) Band with whom he toured for 8 years. Bruce passed earlier this year (2023) leaving behind a huge musical legacy.

Matt has played with Riverdance for over 10 years as well as productions that include Micheal Ó Suilleabháin’s Traditional Irish Music Orchestra, Ragús, the Belfast Irish Harp Orchestra and the Afro Celt Sound System, Jiggy amongst many others. He has also performed on various orchestral works including Bill Whelan’s Seville Suite and Shaun Davey’s Grainneuaile Suite. He has recorded on numerous álbums with Bruce Guthro, Afro Celt Sound System and film scores including most recently Roddy Doyles "A Greyhound Of A Girl", a 2023 internationally co-produced animated drama film, directed by Enzo D'Alò that is a co-production between seven European countries.

Matt most recently was a member of the band for the Olivier and Tony award winning show Come From Away on the West End In London for 4 years. There he won an Olivier award (2019) for outstanding achievement in music as a band member.

Matt’s own band, Iron Mountain, play what is described as Post Rock Celtic Metal. Their debut album “Unum” is released on the Prophecy record label out of Germany. It received rave critical reviews on the underground Post Rock scene worldwide.

Peter Coughlan

Peter Coughlan, originally from County Offaly, is a prominent figure in the Irish folk, rock, and traditional music scenes. He is the frontman for the band Hungry Grass, known for their energetic trad-rock fusion. Coughlan’s powerful voice and emotive singing style have earned him comparisons to legendary Irish ballad singers like Luke Kelly of The Dubliners

In addition to his work with Hungry Grass, Peter Coughlan is also a talented solo artist. He has performed at prestigious venues, including an unaccompanied and unplugged performance at The Royal Albert Hall during the state visit of Irish President Michael D. Higgins in 2014.

His music continues to resonate with fans, showcasing his remarkable vocal talent and deep connection to Irish musical traditions.
